This week we were lucky enough to have Sam's dad come and visit us for four days. It was really nice of him to fly out and visit the boys and it was wonderful for me to have an extra hand to hold Aaron while I disciplined Nathaniel or so I could shower, run errands, sit and have a meal, etc. We didn't do anything spectacular, but we were able to visit the beach and the zoo and Nathaniel got to have some good "Grandpa" time.
Now, I have two weeks until my sister comes out to visit (I am so looking forward to that!!) and then after she leaves, about three weeks until Sam is home on leave. I can see time marching forward and the end of deployment not looming so far ahead. After all, it is already almost June!
